Stator is
an epithet of Jupiter, as the one who gives the strength to resist, to stop.
Legend has it that Romulus, during the battle of Lake Curzio, seeing that his army was retreating because of numerical inferiority in the battle against the Sabines, promised Jupiter that he would build him a temple in the Forum where he was at the time, if he managed to stop and defeat his enemies.
After the victory, Romulus built a temple to Jupiter Statore at the foot of the Palatine Hill.
Hence the utmost dedication in making all possible sacrifices to be able to teach the discipline of apnea and to make “HANDMADE” wooden rifles of the highest performance that are worthy of their name.
The attribute STATOR means “the one who STOPS”.
Stator is Freediving
Freediving is a discipline rather than a sport and requires trust in the instructor and in oneself, sacrifice, perseverance, concentration, passion and the will to recognise the language of one’s own body with all its limits in the aquatic environment.
Because in freediving, even if only for a few minutes, we separate ourselves from the force of gravity in a liquid and marvellous embrace of the sea and its pressure.
Spearfishing
Born of passion. Inspired by lightning.
What better name for a speargun whose purpose is to stop a running fish!
Why stator?
→ Because it was born from the passion for spearfishing and “handmade” wooden spearguns, which for these two reasons have always been the most coveted for being unique, unrepeatable, precious, elegant and of great value over time.
→ Because changing power to shoot in a cave with a 110 should be easy and quick.
→ Because any camouflage is possible precisely because it is hand painted.
→ Because the difference between children and adults is in the price of the toys.
→ Because it is meant to be an extension of the eye.
→ Because it is always accurate, even at long range.
→ Because those who do not distinguish themselves become extinct.
→ Because inspired by lightning!
